Who We Are

The Lady Cave -
A new place for women

The Lady Cave is a fresh take on women’s daytime—bringing together real conversations, trusted experts, and the questions women are actually asking.

From women’s health, menopause, fertility, and sexual wellness to relationships, mental health, family, and the realities of everyday life, nothing is off the table.

Led by doctors, experts, and women with different perspectives and life experiences, The Lady Cave creates a space to talk openly, learn from one another, laugh when we can, and take on the subjects that too often go undiscussed.

We’re informative without being clinical, honest without being judgmental, and serious when the conversation calls for it.

Women’s lives are complicated. The conversations should be real.

Welcome to The Lady Cave.

Meet the Hosts

Alina Patton, MSW

Alina Patton Jones, MSW, is a social worker, women’s health advocate, author, podcast host, and former professional model who brings a deeply human perspective to The Lady Cave.

Alina began her career in Washington, D.C., working with individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS, helping connect them with healthcare, housing, and essential support services. Her career later took an unexpected turn when she was signed by Wilhelmina Models and went on to work with leading fashion designers and appear in national advertising campaigns.

But her passion for helping people ultimately brought her back to healthcare.

Alina earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and went on to work in the women’s health division at New York City’s Beth Israel Hospital. She later became a crisis counselor, providing support to people navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

She is also the author of the illustrated book Mommy Am I Pretty?, which explores beauty, self-esteem, and the messages we pass from one generation of women to the next, and the creator and host of the podcast The Last Two Percent, where she takes an honest look at relationships, family, personal growth, and the parts of life we don't always have figured out.

On The Lady Cave, Alina brings something different to the table. She approaches the conversation not only through the lens of a mental health professional, but as a woman, wife, mother, and someone who understands that health isn't just about what happens to our bodies—it's also about what happens in our lives.

Her perspective helps connect the medical information to the emotional and everyday realities women face.

Because sometimes the most important part of the conversation is simply being able to say, “This is what I’m going through.”

Dr. Zoe Rodriguez

Zoe Rodriguez, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, educator, and nationally respected women’s health expert who brings decades of clinical experience—and a refreshingly candid perspective—to The Lady Cave.

Dr. Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and serves as Vice Chair of Operations at Mount Sinai’s Downtown campus. Her clinical expertise spans comprehensive gynecologic care, preventive health, contraception, minimally invasive surgery, reproductive health, and the changing healthcare needs women experience throughout their lives.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Rodriguez has also been recognized for her work as an educator, twice receiving Faculty Teacher of the Year honors.

For more than a decade, she has been involved in advancing inclusive gynecologic care and was part of the team that helped establish Mount Sinai’s integrated approach to transgender healthcare.

On The Lady Cave, Dr. Zoe brings the same thing she brings to her patients: experience, compassion, humor, and a willingness to have the conversations people are sometimes afraid—or embarrassed—to have.

Because when it comes to your health, no question should be off the table.

Dr Lucky Sekhon

Lucky Sekhon, MD, is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, obstetrician-gynecologist, and nationally recognized fertility expert who brings science, clarity, and a relatable perspective to The Lady Cave.

Dr. Sekhon cares for patients at RMA of New York and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

Her expertise includes fertility and reproductive health, egg freezing and fertility preservation, IVF, preimplantation genetic testing of embryos, endometriosis, and uterine-factor infertility. She also uses minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, to diagnose and treat conditions that can affect fertility and reproductive health.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Lucky is passionate about helping women better understand their bodies and reproductive health. She has become a trusted voice by taking complicated medical information and making it accessible, practical, and easier to understand.

On The Lady Cave, Dr. Lucky brings that same approach to the conversation—breaking down the science, challenging misconceptions, and answering the questions women are really asking about fertility, hormones, reproductive health, and the changes their bodies experience throughout different stages of life.

Because the more women understand about their bodies, the better equipped they are to make informed decisions about their health.

Dr. Laura MacIsaac

Laura MacIsaac, MD, MPH, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, women’s health expert, educator, and one of the driving forces behind The Lady Cave.

With decades of experience caring for women, Dr. MacIsaac has built her career around helping patients better understand their bodies, their choices, and their health. She has particular expertise in reproductive health, contraception, family planning, and the complex healthcare decisions women face throughout different stages of their lives.

Dr. MacIsaac serves as Associate Program Director of the Complex Family Planning Fellowship Program in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Throughout her career, she has created and led family planning training programs at several major academic medical centers in New York City and has been recognized nationally for her work as a medical educator.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Dr. MacIsaac has contributed to national clinical guidance, physician education, and research in women’s reproductive healthcare. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at national conferences.

She received her medical degree from Stony Brook University, completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and her fellowship in family planning at the University of California, San Francisco. She also holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.

On The Lady Cave, Dr. Laura takes the knowledge she has spent a career sharing with patients and physicians and brings it directly to women—creating a place where complicated health information becomes understandable, difficult questions can be asked openly, and women are encouraged to become informed participants in their own healthcare.

Because women deserve more than information. They deserve to understand what it means for them.
